Serving You Musically, Inc. main goal is to ensure that our client’s receive the proper, accurate and timely royalties due to them for their most valuable work, their songs.
If you are a songwriter/composer (music producer) and solely own the publishing rights to your music and/or songs, SYM can provide you with administrative services that you would otherwise need to hire staff members for and train. We are here to provide you with those services at a small nominal fee.
Here is a summary of what services we can offer you as a client:
Copyright Administration
Register all compositions with affiliated performing rights society (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC).
Register all compositions with Library of Congress, Copyright Office.
Licensing
We will issue the following licenses and negotiate the best possible deal on behalf of our clients:
Issue Mechanical Licenses for the use of your song(s) distributed and sold in the format of LP, CD and cassette, which are usually released by a record label.
Issue Synchronization Licenses for the use of your song(s) used in a motion picture, television program, videocassette/DVD, commercial advertising, etc.
Royalty Collection and Payment
Collect all royalties earned through music publishing activities.
Audit quarterly statements received from record labels and performing rights societies to verify accuracy of royalties credited and earned for all performances.
Issue quarterly statements with regards to all income earned through music publishing activities.
Secure credit adjustments from record companies and performing rights societies in the event we detect errors in royalty reporting.
Project and forecast potential pipeline royalties from your music catalogue.
